My parents really enjoyed receiving this as a Christmas gift this morning, and it turns out that my step-mother was already looking for something similar, but what she was previously looking at wasn't anywhere near as nice as the one they received. I purchased the 20x37 one in Matte finish. They have yet to decide where to hang it, but I'm sure it will be displayed somewhere prominent and visible. Looks just as nice as the photos.
It's all pre-set for easy hanging, well packaged, undamaged. Very impressive.
I just received mine and used the purchase code from Zeducation to do so, the first Youtube sponsor ship I ever used. The construction was such a way that it allowed for me to attach LED strips for backlighting. It is not heavy enough to cause great concerns about weight when hung up either. If I had one critique, I would say to place a bit more care on the board glue up. Some stripes are glued unevenly and extend a few millimeters outwards from the other boards creating an uneven edge (on the short edges). It isn't such a profound issue that it ruins the piece, but it is noticeable.
This thing looks amazing!!! It is strong and sturdy. I got a nice heavy duty french cleat system for it due to my mounting situation. it sits perfectly and is the show piece of the great room. Now we always have a flag in site to do the pledge!
I got both gloss and satin versions, and they are both beautiful.
